Dependency Grammar vs Constituency Grammars

Which one should I use?

Constituency Grammars fill a more general purpose role in linguistic analysis. Dependency Grammars, despite the false dichotomy presented here are not near as prevalent as Phrase Structure Grammars. Phrase Structure Grammars overlap with Noam Chomsky's theories and therefore have direct relevance and applicability from extensions of his work.
